There’s something really magical about fall in the Netherlands, especially when you leave the city and venture out into some of the country’s gorgeous (and often free) national parks. One location I particularly love in the fall is the stunningly beautiful Elswout, just outside of Haarlem. It’s a place where you can take a stroll under towering trees, play in a grassy field and feed the deer a bit of grass. In the last hours of daylight, Elswout transforms into a glowing yellow and orange dreamland, making it the perfect backdrop for a fall family photo session.
